Can I keep zoas under power compact lighting?
If you notice any stretch during growth, they may need to be moved closer to lighting.
Yup. I know many who have done it.
Yes, I keep some zoas under *crappy* PC lighting and they are happy.
wow everyone always hates on pcs
kinda agree though once i get money im going t5
yes def, sometimes zoas do better under less light I find. PC's aren't bad by any means, they're just an older tech that seems to be phasing out. The cost/performance benefits of T5's is a no brainer.
Yeah I have PCs on my 37, and only have zoas in there. Couldn't grow anything else.
My 90 has T5s.
Idk you could prob grown some lps my tank is tall and has pcs on it and I grow some lps
mostly zoas though
They grow great on Biocube stock lighting, so I would say yes.
