is this a common species of zoas? Carribean Z. sociatus

I am considering buying a decent amount of them but wondering if they will do fine in my 20 gallon high under regular T5 lighting (not HO) 36W, 10000k and Actinic. What do you think?

I would say they will survive, yes. Zoo's are, for the most part, pretty tough organisims.

Being that you are running a 20G High tho - I would recommend (if you can swing the cash, of course) accenting with maybe an LED strip or two. With the light you have now you will be just under 2 Watts/Gallon. That is kinda of low IMO even for softies like zoas.

Again, I would say the would certainly survive (with good water params) but they would do a lot better with a bit more lighting IME.

Good luck with whatever you do!!!

And remember research and asking ???'s is free!!!
