    whats the best food for zoas? phytoplantion? how to use do i just add it or use a turkey baster and target feed them?:grinthumbs::grinthumbs::grinthumbs::grinthumbs::grinthumbs:

    I don't feed mine; totally photosynthetic.

    Zoas don't need any extra special feeding as their primary source of food is photosynthesis and excrements of your fish. You can feed them if you want to though. Although, as already it has been stated by others they close up a lot with most foods. I have turkey basted mine with flakes already soaked in water but, most of that will be eaten by your fish.

    Oh this is good to know,I think direct feeding with most corals is the way to go
