THAT'S going to require more than one dip. Keep at it.
Yeah, I was pretty bummed when I saw that every single head had multiple pox on there.
My plan is to dip for 3 days, wait a week and then dip 3 days again, rinse repeat as needed. I'm also going to be upping my water changes too.
I'm trying to follow the article as closely as I can.
So, I did 3 days of Furan dip. Then the next day I did a 15 gallon water change. I plan on doing another water change 3 days after the first one to comply with the article. My water was somewhat cloudy even after the water change. I added a small bag of carbon and the tank is clear again.
Even though I rinsed the zoas with fresh tank water before I put them back in, is this enough to cause the water to turn cloudy?
I have never had water get cloudy after a furan 2 dip. And the only way I had good results with the dip was to do 4 days of dips then 3 day break and the repeat dip and break. Everyone I have talked to and myself has repeated dip and break for a 3-4 week time frame. 1 dip may clean them off but they will return just as bad or worse after a few days. Keeping at it for 3-4 weeks seems to be the best results.
ok, good to know. My plan was to wait a week between dips. Maybe I'll up it a day or two.
