    I came home to one of my zoa colony laying in a patch of Kenya tree. When I pick it up I found this, any clue as to what it is?

    I agree, it looks like zoa pox...

    Can removal of zoa pox cause harm to the coral? I had something that looked just like this on one of my paly frags. I removed it about a month and a half ago, assuming it was a pest of some kind. Mine haven't been seen open up since...

    Yup pox, you can use furan 2 dips I believe.

    do you think it a good idea to treat the whole tank or remove all the zoa to the Q tank? am just worried about the the inverts and the other coral.

    just take the zoas out dip them and return them to the tank
