i have a question about zoas. since i am trying to budget my money i am going to stick with a zoa garden and have my rocks covered in them.

The one thing that i would like to know is, are different types of zoas ok to overlap or touch each other? i know some corals can sting each other but im not sure if thats the cause.

A goal would be to have like every square inch of rock be covered in all sorts of bright and beautiful zoas

yeah as far as i know its just a color morph. i had green zoas and red zoas right next to them with buttons mixed in and they were the large ones and never had a single problem. so i never had a problem with them. and i always see them mixed.

Do your clowns host anything now?

The reason I ask is I have seen on 2 different occasions when people have a tank full of zoas with clowns, the clowns have scars from trying to host zoas....This was people who had tanks just for fragging zoas and no other corals at all in the tanks.

Just a thought and maybe its a rare occasion...IDK
