One of the Zoa frags I have is growing long tentacles. The tentacles were short when I got the frag. I've read this could be from not enough light.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Actually different zoanthids and palys can have very different length tentacles depending on the type. The image of yours is great and they look very healthy.

Thank you! These are my first additions to the tank besides LR and CUC so I'm a little overly cautious :).

Yep they look quite okay... I think it is mostly a function of light and flow combo.
I have the same zoas in different parts of the tank and one colony has long lashes, the other has short.

Lash length seems to be controlled most by flow IME.

Agreed, the more flow, the longer the "lashes" seem to be. Some types are more resistant to this, but it seems to affect all types to some extent.

A #1 sign for not getting enough light is usually they will grow taller reaching for more light..Ones that are short are good on light..But thats my zoas.

Ah, that's the same as plants that don't receive enough light.
