So I just found a zoa that made it through one of my koralia's and was hung up on the front part of it. Pulled the powerhead out and cleaned it off, hoping that the zoa didnt split open or anything. If it did would there be any affect on the tank? Also in the past month or 2 I have been noticing a ton of purplish, brown gunk built up in the clear return line from the sump to the tank. Is this normal? I attempted to clean it out, a bunch got blown into the tank when I hooked everything back up.

If it was just 1 zoa you'll have no issue. The gunk getting blown back into the DT, well I'd just keep an eye on your nitrates. Otherwise you should be fine :)
