Does anyone know what these zoanthids are called? Just picked them up, took some pics with all lights on and then just blue lights on.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Image #3 is yellow star polyps.

Images do not capture the true coloration of zoanthids sometimes. The link below should be of assist and fun at the same time.

Here is a good link to help you ID them by commercial name. CoralPedia.com :: Zoanthids, Palys

The yellow ones are protopalythoas and can be fast growers. The green ones in the first pic are palythoas and grow like weeds in the right conditions.

The first and second pics are of the same zoa's just under different light. The camera actually took a perfect picture of the actual color under the different lights. Those are my favorite so I hope they grow fast. What do you think adding a few red led's would do for the color?

The reds will help show red, oranges and pinks and make the flourescing types of the same colors pop.

I am not surprised there. Lots of color morphs.
