zoa concern, what is it and what do I do

    Please see pictures. There is a yellow substance growing at the base of my zoas. It seems to be growing slowly, but nevertheless it is grown and seems to have taken over these. What is it and what do i do.

    My parameters are all good, with exception of caclium and alk which is at the lower threshold. Temp is at 80

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    The images are too blurred for me. By description I suspect sponge which can be removed by taking a soft tooth brush and scrubbing the piece off in some SW.
    You might consider dipping the frag as well in Coral RX or equivalent.
