So I have decided to start a thread on my tank since someone said it would be a good idea as a journal. It's a 25 gallon uniquarium cube. Right now it's a week into it's cycle. I decided to not keep the lights on during the cycle. The aqua scape is set up as a little cave with some live rock in the back after removing the bio balls. I'm waiting on getting my vortech pump, apex controller, and skimmer. Since it has its own sump of sorts it won't be drilled. It will be manually topped off until I invest in an ATO. Currently I'm researching skimmers for it. Don't have a digital camera so hopfully the iPad suffices if it uploads. Cross your fingers, fins, claws and polyps

Yes I will have to learn self discipline in doing so. Plus I forgot to mention it will be illuminated by a kessil 160w led it also has koralia nano powerhead which will be replaced by the vortech.

I plan on keeping my stocking low, at least I will try. Two fish and a few corals, including some ricordea and eventually, the holy grail, at least for me, a frag of montipora.

Thanks. So I have tested the levels of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and Ph.
To be honest I have been keeping track of the ammonia for awhile. It was through the roof. It's since lowered.
    Ammonia: .025 ppm
    Nitrite: 5ppm
    Nitrate: 20ppm
    Ph: 8
