Just got this little bugger today, so far it seems nice. I have no idea if it will support Acros, pretty sure it will do great with LPS & Softies.

    Thoughts so far:

    • Somewhat bright, personally I don't think it will support Acros
    • Unit gets VERY hot when running, (Will post temp soon)
    • When unit gets unplugged all settings are erased, this becomes VERY annoying when unit is on a timer
    • Haven't figured out how to turn off STORM mode, user is forced to turn light off then back on to resume constant light mode
    • Unit is built VERY well, solid construction.
    • Manual is easy to understand

Yeah, if I have a custom setting and unplug the light it goes back to 100%

um..not sure if they changed anything, cuz I tested all the light I have in stock, all able to memorized the setting after turn off =/ well I guess no gimmick setting then lol.
And the lighting setting is really also a gimmick as well, cuz after a while having it on storm mode, it really killing ur eyes with all the flashes. What you do to turn it off is hit the "mode button" again it will move on the cloudy mode and use the "-" and "+" to slow down the cloud movement.

    Thanks :)

I'll play more with it Wednesday, thanks for the help.

Also I fear the light is going to weight too much for my nano tank.

oh one more thing about the setting, did you "unplug" the whole light every day of you have a timer to on/off it. That might be the reason why it keep reset

Does this light have a timer on it? The instructions didn't mention it, the only way to have the light turn on and off is using a timer that cuts the power.
