    That's only half of it.2 wks.worth.I can't wait for winter so I can put the lids back on and get the temp down to 26C.It's been around 30-31C for 3+months now.The corals are slowly fading.

    yeah mate , i know what you mean bring on winter ...my tank has been around 27-28.5 c mark ..can be stressful times...

    What are you guys talking about... Winter is in full effect, its been snowing for the past 4 days. ;)

    So you used a syringe to remove the surface scum? I'm not that patient so i just have a PH that keep the surface agitated so i dont get that film of crap on the surface. ::)

    a while back i had a film of crap (still dont know what it was ) but not even a powerhead could remove i tried a syringe ,tideous as it was It got rid of it????:eek: ::)
