    My only concern is the plug and elec. being thats coming from germany.

    oh it says on it it will fit the uk - plus its europe same voltage everywhere so that wouldnt be a problem, if it came with the wrong plug i could just change it

    I would think the More wattage you can get the better so the second 1 IMO. But thats just me and I'm by far no expert.......yet :D

    Just thought i'd bump this one more time - as im not sure if 4 t5's is better or one halide and 2 t5's?

    Don't know what size your tank is because it is not in your signature but you can NEVER go wrong with MH's.

    sorry - its 120ltr or 31 gallons (i think thats us gallons)
    and 18 inchs deep

    I agree with Otty, you cant go wrong with MH's. But if you do decide to go with MH's, I would get any bigger than 150w bulb for your size.

    well at the moment i just keep a few soft corals, but im always restricted to keeping them towards the top of the tank and aquascaping is difficult. I'd like to hope that maybe if i had powerful enough lights i could get a BTA

    The MH im considering buying is a 150w and 2 24w t5's. Ok so im, assuming that this option is better then 4x 24w t5's?
