Are you going to make the fuge yourself? You can save a lot of cash with a DIY fuge, simple to make

I would upgrade your lighting and make a refugium, if you don't you'll probably wish you did. I'm in that situation now, I made another project without upgrading the first one first. I wish I hadn't done that.

I was planning on a DIY fuge. How much does a used t5 fixture for a 90 go for? Like I said, right now I have 260 watts of PC lighting. I was thinking about getting a smaller t5 to enhance that. If I just enhanced my lighting with maybe 200 more watts of t5 would I be able to grow SPS?

I don't think I can afford halides. The problem is I only have about $400-$500 to do this. Thats not enough money for used halides or t5s as far as I know for the whole tank. Thats where my idea for supplemental lighting came from.

Does mixing light work? Like, would enhancing my PCs with t5s or halides work to keep SPS if it came out to about 2.8 wpg of PC and 2.5-5 wpg of t5 or halide? How much does a used 4 foot t5 or halide fixture, about 200 watts, go for?

Me too! Instead of having one tank that is set-up right, your going to have two tanks set-up "half-a$$". Luna

That was my thought. I could set up the Seahorse tank to it's full extent, but I'd rather make my reef that much better. How much would a halide that I would need cost?
