    ok i want to now wat kind of preotein skimmers are reliable the last time i did saltwater i had a protien skimmer that just over flowed and sucked in water instead of the fish poop i tryed turning it all the way down and it acshually got worse it wroekd good for about 3 months so i wanna now wats the best mini protein skimmer to buy for a 14gal bio cube and can i buy actenic t5 bulbs for my 14gal bio cube? its a oceanic one and if i get premium live rock and sand will it be enuff to start my cycle?

    The AquaC Nano Remora is a popular choice as far as quality and reliability go.

    live rock and sand is plenty to start your cycle. Base rock, dry sand, and a dead piece of shrimp are also enough to start your cycle.
