I made this up with a auto and manual and off setting, with low voltage going to the float switch that trips a relay to power the 120 volt water pump.

It is amazing just how many pieces you can stick inside of one of these project boxes...

Can't see from the pics, but did you use rubber grommets on penetrations through the box and what was your cost?

It looks like a very clean setup you finished with...Nice.

very cool, do you have any pics of where / how you mounted the float switch? i've been wanting to do one on these for a while, and will have too get it done before the honeymoon. why the low power DC? cant you just branch straight off a 120 extension cord to the float switch??

Is there a time limit or anything on how long it will leave the pump running? If salt creep jams it in the open position, it could potentiall flood your sump, lower the salinity, and be a huge disaster.

The container i use to hold the ato water when full is only enough to fill the sump to the top, it holds about 11 gal. and lasts about 8 days.

Didn't mean to nit pick, I like the setup. Its just in my blood I guess that I look for ways that things may fail to try to prevent it, even though it doesn't always work. Nice looking ATO setup.
