Yellow Watchman and Emerald Crab Died

    Crab Died. Here is a pic
    [​IMG] He died just like this very shortly after i put him in the tank????
    By the pics can anyone tell what happened??? The watchman looks like he started turning white???? and My Clown fish seems to be gasping for air, really fast breathes???? HELP ME:-/

    the tank has been set up for about two years, but ive been running it for two weeks now. I got it off craigslist.
    Params are as follows
    PH 8.2
    Calcium 400
    Nitrite 0
    dKH 107.4
    Phosphate .25
    Nitrate 10
    Salinity 1.024
    Temp set at 76

    yes we drained it about half way to move it???
    then i topped it off with saltwater i made from distilled water

    Is that green hair algae on your rocks? What's the temp, SG, lights, how old are the bulbs? There is a form to fill out for ASAP help that requires lots of info so you can get help faster and can help keep the clown healthy. Keep the info coming, the more the better.

    yes it is hense the Emerald Crab?? My heater is set to 76 and might go up a couple degrees during the day?? Just replaced the Daylight Flourescent compact a week ago>>> Dont know how old the Atnics are???

    what are your ammonia levels? What do you mean by "temp set at 76"? is this the temp of the water according to the thermometer?

    the heater is set at 76 and the temp goes from between 76 to 79 through out the day??
    Sorry dont have an ammonia test kit???
    But nitrites are at zero
