My yellow tang has an open wound. This is located on both sides of his body. He eats very well, and is still very active. He's not scratching on rocks. It started with just 1 wound on 1 side, now there's a wound on both sides. I'm afraid that one day I'll just find the wounds getting worse.

What fish is inflicting these wounds?

    Fox face another tang?

If the fish is eating and acting normally I would first remove the source of the injury. Continue to watch the fish and boost it's diet if possible.

You can add Melafix, not sure how much good that would do, but it may prevent secondary infection. There are bio-bandages for fish, but at this point that seems like more stress than the fish needs.

The wound can be inflicted by another fish? I thought it might be a parasite inside that's causing this.

That looks more like a laceration from a fox face or another tang to me.
