Out of the blue, my yellow tang seems to be developing the lateral line disease.
I started noticing that his fins looked "nipped" about 2-3 weeks ago, and heard that sometimes broccoli can help with that, so they've all been eating that along with Rod's and Mysis. I've also started feeding more seaweed strips as well.

But today I noticed that it now has these red looking legions on it's top fin and tail area...

    Doesn't look good.

From my tests, my water quality is fine. So it's just a vitamin or "greens" thing? I also saw that sometimes electricity leaking in can cause it? I've never tested for that, I'm just assuming that everything is grounded and there's no stray voltage or anything.

    Is it reversible?

Yes it is. Diet is the key. And what keeps my tangs HLLE free is I soak all there food in selcon for 10 minutes before I feed. I usually feed frozen PE mysis and tear up nori into tiny pieces and soak it. I also feed Formula 1 and 2 with random pellets as well.

Everything is soaked in a half pipette of selcon and a bit of tank water.

As far as time table, I started with selcon and all damage was reversed in 3 weeks to where you couldn't see any erosion. My lavender had three big spots on his left side all the way into tissue so it was pretty bad.

    Selcon, huh?
Not sure what that is, but I'll def look into it and get some.

Healing in 3 weeks is at least encouraging. TY
