    the fins have gotten worse today. he's acting real sluggish and staying behind the rock for the most time. i even witness my banded shrimp walk up to him and grab him. i was able to get some pictures with my phone but im not sure how to post them right in the thread. could someone let me kn ow how they do that.

    it looks like you may have a case of fin rot, or simply aggression within the tank.

    Might be time to pull him and set up a little hospital tank if he doesnt turn the corner soon!

    yes, set up a hospital tank and treat him with copper. which is the most effective form of parasitic treatment. if its a parasite the copper will treat it.

    To my knowledge fin rot is not treated by copper. And I dont know of many parasites that cause fin deterioration of that nature.
