Yellow goby

Hello all, I just got a yellow watchman goby on Saturday and I just noticed the mouth is open and white looking. It seen like its top lip is gone.

 

Mine has his mouth open quite a bit.

 

I understand they tend to have the mouth open but is white and it appears the there's something missing. It actually looks like predator without the mask. It was not like this when I got it on Saturday.

 

What types of fish and inverts do you have? Any serpent stars?

 

Two clown fish (one oceralis and one percula) two lyretail chromis, three cardinal and one coral beauty. No serpent star that I know (except the very little ones) inverts I got hermits, snails, one anemone, one sand sifting star.

 

Well unless you see blatant aggression all you can really do is make sure the fish is eating, might try some Melafix added to the food.

Why don't you put up an image. Seems very strange the jaw is missing. How big are your hermits?
