today is January 1st according to the Lunar calender
so happy new year to all our Asian members and guests for today

and sincere wishes that the year of the Tiger brings you health, happiness and prosperity.

we had the traditional for my wife home province end of year meal last night
which is a hot pot with 3 meats beef pork and chicken cooked in spices
and then last night we watched the fireworks that started at midnight and finished at 2 am which was fun

but I would have had a headache if the fireworks had gone on longer
