A friend bought me this for Christmas but forgot what the LFS called it. Any thoughts? The polyps are ultra metallic green under actinics and the thing is never closed up. It is already a favorite!

It is a birdsnest of some kind. I really like the coloring of that one. Never seen the different shades like that, almost pink and green at the same time.

Seriatopora caliendrum I believe. In the same family as what we commonly refer to as "Birdsnest", but has much thicker branches.

So a Seriatopora? I thought it looked very similar to one on ORA's website. The thing is so much more awesome in person. The branches are a peach color and the polyps are metallic green further out on the branches but turn more blue/green lower down. It is probably my favorite piece in that tank. I wish I could actually capture the color with the camera.
