XM 250w 20k HQI (best lights Ive used)

    Are you talking SE or DE HQI's?

    Also, as asked by missionsix, what ballasts are you using?

    My only issue with 20k halides is that they just don't have the PAR that a 10k does.
    MH is easier and more efficient to make whiter light, and t5ho are better suited to make blue hues.

    The ballasts are actually cheapies I got off ebay. They came with some crappy bulbs and I decided to upgrade to the XM's and I was blown away by the crisp white/blue I got.

    The ones I got are the double ended

    Are the ebay ballasts electronic or magnetic? It makes a big difference.

    If you post a link I am interested as I want to get 2 more MH ballasts.
