Over the last few days a number of my xenia stalks have been fattening up to maybe 2 to 3 times usually size some 1 and half inch in thickness, there is no change in colour, but i was just wondering is this due to good health, or another reason to worry about?

Due to good lighting, water parameters and ample supply of nutrients in the water! Xenia does best with strong lighting, moderate flow, iodine and nitrate(nutrients in the water)!

Have added some pics of mine which look a lot more pink in colour, they have climbed as high as they can and pulse, so is this swelling a good thing then?

My nitrats are at a constant 7 in this enough, i don't dose iodine?

That is fine! Nice Xenia some of mine pulse while other do not. May have to do with light or water flow. I am sure that my Xenia differs from yours in that I have 6700K bulbs!
