Wth?

I love getting up in the middle of the night to see whos doing what in the tank.... i look under my sun polyp and see what looked like a calm?? am i seeing things guys a hitchhiker clam???

 

Barnacle maybe? Does it look like a little tentacle coming out of it?

can't really tell from the angle. I will check again in the AM. I'll look up barnacles since i never heard of them lol. thanks for the post with this time change i just noticed its almost 4 am!!!

 

Lol yeah I'm on my cellphone and my phone says four but tapatalk says 2 lol...I just got home from the bar so that doesn't help much either lol. I had something that kinda looks like that but was encrusted and in the middle of an across. It just kinda looks like a hole but you can see something come out of it once in a while that's almost clear/white that looks like a tongue/tentacle.

I think I'm looking at the end of a true mussel. It shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks guys I did a water change and moved my sun poly a little further from my frogspawn and forgot about it. lol it looks like a mussel its just sitting on the gravel opens up late at night should I place it on a piece of LR? I don't want to forget and suck him up when i'm doing a water change.
