Currently I have a 55G tank (48L x 13W x 20H) with live rocks with lots of metallic green mushrooms & xenias and fish. It's built into the wall so the clearance for lighting is only about 3 inches so I cannot hang a fixture over it. Only choice is to put a glass canopy and to place the light fixture over it. There is a divider in the middle so I would have to get 2 sets of these lights. Would they provide enough lighting?

Current makes a T5 fixture that would work because it is very low profile but I'd go with a four bulb 48 inch setup not two two bulb 24 inch.

I know current arent the best lights but the fixtures are very thin at about 1.5 to 2 inches tall. They get hot so you will probably need a vent fan to go along with the one that comes with the hood.
