I was looking at the build your own cleaner packs and was wondering if all or any of these would be ok with my current population:

    Banded Coral Shrimp
    Sally Lightfoot Crab
    Arrow Crab
    Emerald Crab
    Nassarius Snail
    Orange Marked Hermit Crab
    Cerith Snail
    Green Lettuce Nudibranch
    Brittle Sea Star
    Serpent Sea Star
    Queen Conch - Aquacultured
    Electric Blue Hermit Crab

    Thanks!

    Ok lets see here.

I think that all those can live together except the arrow crab and banded coral shrimp. They will fight with each other.

As for the rest...lets see. The nudibranch you mught want to not invest in...the husbandry of those guys isnt really that well known.

Emerald crabs are great, as are sally lightfoots. Nassarius snails are great too.

Yeah I'm a bit nervous about the nudibranch. Other than that it's just a choice between the arrow crab and the banded coral shrimp? Do I have to worry about the arrow with the peppermint shrimp?

Arrow Crabs can get nasty when they have grown up a bit. Small/slow fish may be in danger. Your Damsels may have shrimp for dinner unless it is pretty good sized. :-/

I would get Scarlet Hermit Crabs instead of the Blue Legged one, seem to less aggressive to the snail population. Just make sure you keep extra shells around for them to grow into or they will take one from your snails. Margaretta snail do an excellant job in my tank. I have 75 of them 100 Nassarisious and 100 Scarlet Crabs for a clean up crew.

The peppermint shrimp I have now seems to get along fine with the damsels. Or do you mean the banded coral shrimp?

OK, this is what I ordered:

    Banded Coral Shrimp x 1
    Sally Lightfoot Crab x 2
    Emerald Crab x 2
    Nassarius Snail x 2
    Cerith Snail x 2
    Serpent Sea Star x 1
    Brittle Sea Star x 1
    Queen Conch - Aquacultured x 2
Electric Blue Hermit Crab x 2
    Mexican Turbo Snail x 1

    Hopefully they'll all play nice!

Ok...it is true that crabs, when large, can become bullies...but has anyone here ever had that expierence? My arrow crab is huge and does not go near my clown gobies who are usually sitting a few inches away from him.

You might want to invest in a skunk cleaner shrimp. They are great, picking off dead scales and parasites from the fish. Very fun personality also.
