Would a 12 led kit be good for a BC29?

    Umm I would stick with the stock lighting for the moment. You are only going to get 36 watts of light when you currently have 64 watts from your CF bulbs. I know LED is the current trend but I wouldn't gut my hood for 12 LEDs.

    Yeah but 1 watt of led is worth way more than one watt of CF. still, I agree, you can house more with the stock lighting.

    Yes it will work, it may however look spotty. If you do it, dont use any optics. I got my crees from him and the solderless are very easy to install. I would get 6rb and 6 cool white. You will soon want more lights and more coral, It's addictive.

    I didn't say it wouldn't work, save you money for a larger kit.
