    I'm new to both sps andLed a local has this for $300

    It would replace a 4 54 watt T5 fixture

    IMO the price of that piece of lighting should be lower.

    You should be able to keep SPS just fine with your T5HO fixture unless it is an Odyssea then it might be iffy.

    Those are good fixture, the bulbs that come with the fixture are so so. Change them after 3 to 6 months with ATI , KZ, Geisemann, UVL or Aqua Science bulbs.

    Maybe if you ran a few of them over the tank. 100w just seems a bit low. I can see it matching a 250w MH but not a 400w.

    wattage on LED is not comparable to MH. It liks comparing engines on a crotch rocket to a rice burner =-)
