Worms!!!

    Well yesterday when I was feeding i noticed about 4 tentacle type worms come from the sand, was like wtf are those. Looks like they were going after anythign that touched the sand and as soon as a hermit touched them they retracted. There only in 1 part of my tank right now, what do you guys think they are, very small to get a picture. They have the consistency of about 15lb fishing line.

    Do they have legs like a centipede? or are they white and real skinny?....

    white and real skinny, only pop out when its feeding time.

    I was thinking that also but idk were they would have come from and are they good for my tank?

    Bristleworms can come tucked in the little nooks and crannies of liverock. Almost all tanks have them. They will come out at night to feed. They clean and stir your sandbed. Very beneficial! Leave them be to do their jobs.

    bristle worms have legs these are long and skinny and all white I have several...I dont know what they are but they do not hurt anything....I see them on occasion , kinda cool to watch....harmless

    I have seen them from time to time. I am not sure if they are bad or not.
