Worm??

    Looks like a bristle worm to me.

    Yea it is, caught me by suprise. I haven't seen one since the day I added live rock 1.5 years ago.. From the looks of him I bet he's a pretty big guy too.

    Most likely harmless and yes a Bristle worm. Excellent part of a clean up crew.

    That looks like a Caribbean Fireworm (Eurythoe complanata), which, altho it is a fireworm, isn't "the" fireworm you hear all the bad stories about, but they can still poke you if you aren't careful, as with any bristleworm. You can tell it's a fireworm by the arrangement of its bristles...fireworms have them in distinct "tufts".
