worm?

    Sorry I don't have any pictures, I can't seem to catch it fast enough. Basically though I have an over hang in my rockwork and I've notice what I think to be worms maybe. During the night I flashed a LED into the tank and there were two lines reaching out of the rock (they look like what two individual lines of chateo would look like but white). As soon as I spotted them with the light they retracted back into the rock. I did a search for worms but I haven't found any pictures that resembles it. I will try and get pictures.

    It could be spionid worms. Google those.

    (Remember that most worms are either very helpful or neutral. There's few bad ones).

    thanks for the replies, now that you mention it, i did syphon a little brittle starfish the other day. i caught it in time and threw it back in thinking nothing of it. but the legs weren't that long.

    They could probably get out if they wanted to. I think they just stick their arms out like that to catch food from the water.

    Yea agreed, I didn't even know I had one until I found him in my mag float, then he found himself a rock to stick his legs out of :p
