I know a pic would help, but they are too small for me to get a picture of. There is a patch of them on one rock. They look and move like tiny inchworms. I haven't introduced anything new into my tank since 07 November. I am really hoping it is the larval stage of something useful, and not a reef wrecker. Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated.

They are floating about in the water column now. My watchman goby grabbed on to one and it filtered out through his gills.

Sounds like gametes from your polychaete worms. Are they swimming really fast all over the place, or slow?

That would be great if they are bristle worms. It makes since and I don't mind them.
