Unresolved Worm ID please & Thank u!

    This is the 2nd worm I've found that is flat & has 2 rows of bristles. The 1st one was 3x as big as this 'little' guy. I had a regular bristle worm nail me & my hand was red & swollen for a week! I'm really trying to rid my tanks of these little bastards!! I realize they do help clean, but, I can't stand them! Are these the dreaded fire worm?? Thank u!!

    The way to tell if they are a true H. carunculata, it would have a red caruncle where you would think the mouth should be.

    Looks like a scale worm to me. Eating a common bristle worm.
