    Two UFOs:

    a) Worm: these are active an seen as hitchhikers on a small rock.

    b) "Eye Ball": shiny round object approx. 1/4" in diameter.

    Sorry about the photo but based on the link you posted, these are Cirratulids. Mine are black and white and appear to be burrowed in the rock. If I can get a better photo or video, I will post it.

    The tentacles are identical to what I see in photos 3 and 4 under the Cirratulids category that are...according to what I am reading...often confused with spaghetti worms.

    The "eye-ball" identified as algae has me wondering if it is actually part of the body of the worm.

    Most important, can I assume these are harmless? I'm not getting clarity from the articles.

    Yup, you're so right. You can see it's other legs deeper in the indentation.
    Good eye.

    Harmless.

    And the other does look just like bubble algae, not so harmless.

    Looks like brittle star leg and the "eye" is definitely bubble algae IMHO.
