My corals wont attach to my live rock. They have been in there for weeks and also have barely grew. What can be wrong? Ive tried putting fuel coral growth in the tank twice a week. Still no much.

That's a lot of light for that size tank.

frogspawn, montipora, zoas, and a Acropora. The zoas seem to be the only ones who show a little bit of growth.

Superglue them down, that's what has worked for me in the past. Or buy some coral glue available pretty much everywhere.

What are your parameters? Your Ca, Alk and Mg need to be at proper levels for good growth. What spectrum bulb are you using? The frogspawn wont' grow onto the rock, it grows from the heads, not the skeleton. Give the sps and zoas time, corals don't grow very quickly.

I agree with the Guitar! give them time. the frogspawn will not attach itself. it is not encrusting like the Acro and monti are. what are your params? also, they need alot of flow as well. it may take a year or more to grow 1/2" or less for some corals.

My Acropora took around 4-5 months before it completely encrusted over the glue. You'll also notice that they grow in spurts. I find that mine grows up, then gets thicker, then grows up again. Acro growth rates also depend on what type you have. Some grow much slower than others.
