    Well it's 6:00 a.m. here in the CST and for some reason I'm awake. I turned my lights on cause I'm to lazy to find a working flashlight and this is what I found. I have never seen PE on this acro to this extent.

    that coral is reaching out for something to be sure

    Urchins - they have suction pads, much like Starfish I believe

    my rock urchin has llittle tentacles that he holds onto the wall with.

    Very nice looking. I think it is cool when you see your corals doing something different than normal.

    is that urchin on the front glass holding on with its spikes? I've never had an urchin or looked at one closely but I thought all the walking appendages were on the bottom and the spikes were just for defense?

    Wow, that's some polyp extension! Maybe there was something in the water it was feeding on!

    And for those curious about how urchins stick to/hold on to stuff, Steve's right. They have suction cups like starfish. Have a bunch of pics of them.
