It was super inflated last night and woke up this morning to it looking like it had tried squeezing into the rocks in a weird pattern. After the actinics kicked on, I could see the tissue of the RBTA tearing as it was pulling apart. One of them is a fair amount smaller than the other, but I'm hoping both sides will recover. Anyway, I'll have pics of the journey as always.

:cheesy: I envy you so much. I've always wanted a BTA that would split. Congratulations...that is so cool:cheesy:

It had almost finished by the time I left to teach. I'm expecting it to be done when I get home tonight. The one piece is rather small

This is part of why I got a RBTA... They multiply and you can make back some of the investment cost. Also, I will take pics when I get home from proctoring this test tonight. It looked almost separated when I left this morning

I was joking about hatting RBTAs BTW, I am actually quite fond of them. This is true though, you can sell the clones. The only issue is they can wander a bit after splitting, so, you need to watch to make sure they don't sting other corals.

All of my other corals are on other rocks and/or in the sand bed. Wander away RBTAs. We'll see how I like the look of 2. What are the chances one will bubble? I figured after a split they would have to be decent odds. I miss the bubbling

Split had completed by the time I got home, and both parts did some wandering... as expected. We'll see where they end up.
