    Not sure on an answer.. but will be watching as well for my new tank. Nice find on a set of lights.

    I like the first one's ability to have the LED moonlights dim.... They look like knockoffs of already existing lights. I personally am a fan of tried and true, but without someone trying something new, it can't become tried and true.
    As long as they both have SLRs you are ahead of the game. Now look for fans and before you order ask them what ballasts they use and whether or not they are program start.

    I talked to my LFS, and they said the same thing about the first one, About how it like a knockoff of already existing lights. And i found a fixture im buying, Nova Extreme Pro 6x54wat T5HO

    I just got the 48" dimmables from e-bay (Digi-Kit) and I am very happy with them so far!
