Ok so my "complete fixture" I ordered from reefwerks came today as a complete DIY! And missing the wires to connect the 2 heatsinks! The wire is 24 gauge, but NO ONE in my town sells 24 gauge! Can I use 18 gauge? I figure its safe as its well past the drivers and the difference isn't enough that the resistance is gonna drop the power much!

Why would you entertain the thought of trying to satisfy this "business" by accepting anything less than what you paid for?

You could use wires with larger AWG without any issue. Just have to make sure it fits into the connector or onto the area you are soldering...

Hope you figure this out cosmo!
