    hahahaha lol i love opening cermonies i dont really watch the sports but love the beginning

    agreed but i think beijing ruined it for everybody because they were just so good

    The winter Olympics are very dangerous. Going 95 mph is dangerous in a car let alone a little sled. Then you have the ski jumpers hitting a jump at 50 mph and flying over 300 feet, one bad landing and they are dead. Pretty much every winter olympic sport has a danger element to it, with the possible exception of cross-country skiing.

    You know, the beijing ceremonies were great bc they had a lot of state of the art technical components. However, I thought Vancouver's were, how do I describe it, very peaceful and serene. It was very pleasant to watch IMO. You can have an awesome show without all the techno mumbo jumbo. Sometimes some whales, gigantic trees, and the northern lights are all you need. I think Canada did an outstanding job.
