I will be setting up a standard 55g frag tank in the next few days and I was wondering if one of these will work. I have powerheads for flow, eggcrate/pvc frag racks, metal halide lighting, a cheap HOB filter, and a cpr bak pak skimmer, CC base (very little). I wanted to maximize growth and was wondering if could combine carbon and GFO (granular ferric oxide) in the same chamber of the reactors below?
Also if there is anything I am missing please let me know, this will be me first frag tank so I am all ears!

or should I run something like this?

It will work best to keep them in separate reactors. GFO needs to be changed out less so you will save yourself money if you can just change out the carbon more frequently if you need to. They also require different flow amounts so I would either get 1 reactor for each or get the BRS dual reactor.
You can do it in a single reactor, it's just not ideal.
