Will this plumbing work?

    Hey guys! Just wanted to ask your opinion about my plumbing... bought a sump just this week and wanted to see if its ok... thanks!

    Looks like it should work. The only thing you have to watch out for is the flow through the fuge being to strong/fast. Also are you using any powerheads/closed loop? I think option 1 for the return line is best but you also need some circulation on the bottom of the tank.

    I would seperate the fuge completely and not have anything running through it like the skimmer return. A fuge should have pretty low flow so put it off on one side draining into the sump/return area. That way you don't need lower flow for your fuge but higher flow for your skimmer so you would be in a tight spot.

    I would elevate the fuge and have it completely seperate from the return so that it can drain through gravity into the sump.

    I was going to suggest that, but he would have to modify his sump a bit.

    is your sump box already set up like the diagram? if not put the overflow on right side with baffles, then flow to middle where pump will be, then split the return with part going to fuge on left side and then fuge water returning to middle chamber where pump is

    what do you mean by closed loop sir? sorry newbie here... how would you suggest that i get circulation at the bottom of my tank?
