will these brittle stars breed in my tank?

    When i bought seafans, i got these tiny brittle stars with them, they are cute... i want them to breen in my tank, will they breed? what food do they eat other than mucus, what should be done so they can thrive in my tank..... they are either Ophiothrix purpurea or Ophiothela danae heres a pic:

    Should have no problem keeping them. I had a ton of them, they tend to multiply fast.

    They will scavenge food and detritus,good to have as part of your cuc.They seem to mutiply based on the amount of available food.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I have much larger populations when I have no hermit crabs, I believe they eat the larvae, same goes with stomatellas, hermit crabs almost wipe them out as well.

    Lower the lights but skip the bottle of wine(jk).Actually I have no idea,they stay hidden most of the time,just see their little tentacles waving around......on second thought!!
