    hey, guys
    i have a 55 gallon fowlr tank and i want to up grade the lighting so i can have some zoa's and possible a pom pom Xenia. what will i need for lighting. dose the watts per gallon still apply?is this a good fixture? Aquarium Lightings - T5 Lighting and T6 Lighting

    Good choice in using t5's...for the corals you listed, using t5's would work.

    If i had the extra cash I would look into a metal halide fixture, you could probably find one on the site you had listed for the t5's...If you want to stick with the t5's i would look into "tek" lights, very nice fixtures

    and remember, the price you pay is what you get!! That may be a good deal, but you could be possibly sacrificing quality
