will it grow back?

    ive got a blasto coral that is about half dead, literally down the middle. will it ever recover the dead area? or is it better for me to break that part off for a fresh area to grow?

    Welcome to 3reef.

    Buy some iodine and soak the coral in a mixture of tank water and iodine every couple of days for a couple of weeks.

    Look up iodine dip to get a recipe depending on the type of iodine you get.

    There is Lugol's solution which is very strong or tincture of iodine.
