wierd wormhole with 2 tenticles!

    weird wormhole with 2 tenticles!

    sorry about this ones peeps but i can only describe this one

    it seems to come out of what looks like worm tube and it has only 2 tenticles and it growing on the same rock as one of my soft corals.
    when disturbed the tenticles dissapear then gradually pop back up.
    hmmm

    are the tentacles kinda feathery looking? is so a feather duster worm. ive got 3 that were hitchhikers.

    naa reminds me of a woodlouse tenticles when theyre feeling about for things very thin and not feathery. only thing i can see is 2 tenticles
    i have added a quick drawing if it helps

    harmless tubeworm. I can't recall the species right now. The tentacles will search around for pieces of detritus and pull it into the tube to eat. Their tube will be hard because they make it out of calcium they've ingested.

    Its a harmless chaetopterid worm, I have loads of them in my tank also.
