Well I just noticed this long green worm that only comes out at night from one of my rocks. Here is a drawing of it:

It looks kind of like a fern with a little white eye head thingie. It will come out super long but when light is shined on it's eye thing it will retract with great speed.

    any ideas?

Not a bristle worm lol looks nothing like those. More like a plant but it has to be a worm it moves! Only comes out at the same spot every night and flows in the water while still being connected to the rock.

Use a flashlight for light. Put the camera right against the glass, if you can. Shining the light from the side of the tank helps sometimes. I thought the drawing looked more like train tracks. Hard to tell from that.

Turn the flash off, and use a flashlight like barbianj said. There's no way to tell from a drawing.

Alternatively, look here Live Rock Hitch Hikers and see if you can find something that looks like it.

    I will try tonight,

also, could not find it on that site and it is not the green paddle worm.

This thing is a thread tiny body type. Very small but can get super long with a tiny white head.
